To better fulfill the requirements of mechanized transplanting of pepper plug seedlings, this research explores the seedling selecting system of a completely computerized pepper transplanting equipment. It introduces a novel “eagle beak” type trajectory for seedling picking and designs a probe-form mechanism for pepper plug seedling retrieval.
